Inpact — The Architecture of Thought
Inpact is a live product platform where developers learn by shipping real, working
features — not tutorials, not simulations. Every task on Inpact is a genuine piece of a
real product: a live cohort-matching pipeline, an inventory and purchasing system, a
shift-coverage board, a package-tracking desk, and more. When a developer completes a
task, real users depend on the result.
How it works
Developers apply and get matched into a cohort based on their trade and current skill
level — React, TypeScript, JavaScript fundamentals, and beyond. Each matched task comes
with a guided set of independent steps, each with an on-demand Assist guide that teaches
the underlying pattern without handing over the finished answer. Developers write the
real code themselves, in a real workbench, against a real backend.
Guided tasks touch the patterns real teams use daily: building UI components in React,
writing typed data models in TypeScript, wiring forms and filtered list views, and
composing multi-step dashboards from smaller pieces. Each task is scoped to one clear,
independent goal, so a developer always knows what "done" looks like before they start.
Real work, real experience
Compensation on Inpact is real-world experience, not cash. Every shipped task becomes a
genuine, verifiable line in a developer's own portfolio: real product, real acceptance
criteria, real code review. It's the fastest path from "I know the syntax" to "I've
shipped."
Inpact currently runs cohorts across the React and TypeScript ecosystem, with tasks
spanning full front-end builds, form and list UI patterns, dashboards, and small
full-stack products with their own APIs. New product tracks are added as the platform
grows. Inpact is an early-stage platform built by developers, for developers, working
toward becoming the standard way junior and mid-level engineers build a body of real,
shippable work before their first job — or their next one.
